The weather’s getting colder, but that doesn’t mean SUP-ers have to tuck their iSUPs back in their iROCKER Back Pack Carry Bags and shove them away in the darkest part of the garage until summer.
It may not seem like it, but there’s lots for SUP-ers to do during the winter months. So what if the degrees drop a little? It’s no reason for nature lovers to sit inside and miss out on outdoor adventures. Isn’t that what wetsuits were made for?
The Amsterdam Light Festival
One noteworthy light festival coming up is the Amsterdam Light Festival. People flock from all over the world to witness the extraordinary show of lights and art installations put on display in Amsterdam. In addition to visitors, festival organizers invite artists from all over to contribute to the show.
The art and light installations are set up all along the Keizersgracht Canal, which is great news for SUP-ers. Get a stellar view of Amsterdam’s beautiful architecture all lit up from on top of your SUP.
Don’t forget to pack a camera in your Cooler Deck Bag. The bag is waterproof and it secures perfectly to your iSUP, so it’ll remain safe and sound stored away when you’re not using it. You’ll capture some of the greatest photos from your iSUP since you’ll be seeing the festival from a unique angle.
The festival goes on from Nov. 29 to Jan 20. Take a peek at the details and featured artists here.
Historic St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights
St. Augustine, Florida, is a quaint and gorgeous historic city, but it’s rarely quiet. Every night from Nov. 17 to Feb. 3, the city’s historic buildings and bridges are illuminated with lights.
How cool would it be to see St. Augustine’s Nights of Lights from the Matanzas River? Experiencing the stunning scenery from a distance with a few SUP pals by your side would be a memory that would last a lifetime.
