Our iSUPs are top notch as far as we’re concerned. Still, if you exercise a little extra care on your end, you’ll be able to get more years out of your iROCKER than you might think.

In this post, we’re going to share some of our tips for storing your iROCKER during the winter.

How to Clean and Store Your iSUP

We’re passionate about iSUP and iROCKERS, in particular. We’re just as passionate about helping you get a long life out of your iROCKER. We understand your board is an investment so we want to help you get the most out of your investment.

First, you want to give your board a good clean. You should do this after every use but it’s super important if you’re going to put your board away for several weeks or a whole season.

It should be inflated when you clean it, and you should use a mild soap. Harsh chemicals can degrade the surface so definitely choose your cleaning product carefully.

Once it’s clean, give it a thorough rinse and to be safe, a second rinse. Then, a good drying off. Your board must be completely dry before you pack it away, because this will help you prevent mildew and mold. A big smelly mess will await you the next time you use it if you don’t get it totally dry.

Wipe down the inside of your storage bag and let it dry thoroughly too. Once your board and backpack are ready, deflate and fold up your board, place it in your Back Pack Carry Bag and store it away with your accessories.

One more thing: don’t let water inside or near the valve when deflating your board. Drying out the inside of your iSUP is not an easy thing to do and moisture inside your board could lead to the growth of mold or mildew.

So, You Want to Keep Your iROCKER Inflated?

That’s fine by us. iROCKER uses military grade materials, and we design our boards to hold air for extended periods of time. You’ll simply need to store your board out of the sun and keep it protected from harsh weather, debris and dirt.

Your iROCKER board will give you years and years of SUP fun as long as you take care of it.!!!

If the weather here at home gets too cold and frosty for you this winter, then pack up your iROCKER for a holiday somewhere tropical. You could even get into your wetsuit and enjoy some sold weather SUP. Whatever works! After all, iROCKERs are versatile by design and easy to travel with.
